I hope everyone is doing okay.
Sweet lady, very giving, and I have worked closely with her and I help her willingly, it’s a give and take. She was so worried today that she had done something wrong. Why? I ask. She explained someone emailed her about not meeting deadlines and she was confused. She asked if i heard anything?
She asked my boss if she was missing anything? She missed a mark if so she wanted feedback. She explained herself and that she was doing a lot even tasks not in her role and with no additional pay increase in salary. I asked if she was behind on anything? She said no, that’s why she was confused. Who sent the email and when? I reviewed the email and the report. It was an old and outdated report. The person basically referred to an old report that my co-worker cleared a week ago. I told her to ignore it and showed her why. As long as she’s meeting her expense report deadlines she should not worry. The email to her was unnecessary. My co-worker was freaked out. I told her not to worry about it. She mentioned a situation from a while back, a couple months ago that someone made her feel bad she posted done charge to the wrong account and told her it couldn’t be fixed. What! Oh my gosh! I said, “My friend, it’s called a journal entry. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad, mostly everything can be fixed, except stealing.” Instead of causing anguish on someone why don’t they ask first and explain the report to her. My goodness. All the Best!
