I hope everyone is doing okay.
That’s all I have this month is problems, problems, and more problems. It won’t stop. It’s time to take a step back. It’s the only way to relieve stress, the workload, and the problems. It’s this job, this department, this employer. Everything is so difficult and takes forever to process, approve, and vague responses. Specifically this team tries to manipulate me to take on more tasks, that’s because I don’t say anything doesn’t mean I don’t know. I agreed to do the job because they lost their business coordinator last year in September 2025. Now I have been doing the job of 3 people.
I only agreed to help temporarily until they hired someone new and they have since January 2026. It’s not sustainable for me to continue to do it. Director 1 is attempting to manipulate the situation to get me to keep the tasks of the role claiming these tasks were always mine. I don’t report to the program teams so I’m not sure how they think these tasks should remain with me and I have emails confirming that I would volunteer so let’s see what they have to say. I doubt they will face me about it.
On another note the Sr. Mgr has been working on a salary adjustment and didn’t communicate with anyone and attempted to pass the buck back to me. I ignored all her emails. You can’t call the shots when you don’t pay the salary. She’s on her own and I cannot put my name on anything that is not defensible. The MD asked for her to keep the communication internal and she took it upon herself to go out external and share the information. You can’t dictate to the sponsor what they should change when the rules have been set and a signed contract is already in place. I don’t see any issues so I don’t know why she’s stirring the pot. Silly girl. Once again when I was asked for my input by the MD. I spoke up and cleared the miscommunication and clarified with an answer. All the Best!
