I hope everyone is doing okay. For today I had peace, very productive, updating tasks, and resolving open inquiries. I had a great conversation with the sponsor. The agency is happy with my work, the submitted request for budgets to support our programs, and results of the programs are at an all time high, really good. I am proud of the work I have done despite some colleagues being counterproductive, might be competition or dislike? Who knows? I have learned not to cared, but I’m also standing up for myself.
I met with a manager from an outside department and she is currently going through something similar as I have already been through and she expressed being overwhelmed. It will be okay I explained. She almost got emotional. I could relate to her experience. I can’t carry her burden but I am a listening ear.
Tomorrow I’m going to have to face off with “PEI” and/or “DD.” They will try to do everything they can to get away with their lies, things that are really not happen. They consistently do things that are either morally or procedurally done incorrectly, errors and carelessness. It’s allowed too. “PEI” recently took a promotion and refuses to do her role and pushing her financial work to me. I was going to keep it quiet, but she brought it up unexpectedly on a call with everyone present so she brought this on herself, but now they want to lie about it. We have a meeting tomorrow and let’s see how it goes. She’s great at watching her soap operas and putting her feet up on the desk. Most hold positions here they are not experienced in. The few of us that have experience are seen as the troublemakers because not only are we bailing them out and trying to help them, but they still treat us as we’re the bad people too. Crazy stuff.
I’m sure after tomorrow they will stay away from me, try to isolate me, and will be looked as a troublemaker, again. Oh well, it doesn’t even bother me anymore. All the Best!
