Friday reflection – work divided – 3/27/26

I hope everyone is doing okay.

This week it’s shown who’s really working and who’s not by how well you’re prepared. This was an all out debate. We know where the mistakes were made that caused finger pointing. 🫵 it’s not good to do it, but I can understand the circumstances and why. How was this, that, and all others missed? There are groups that continue to do what they’ve always done. The manipulation using doubt is again being displayed by the Sr. Manager as yesterday (blog 3/26/26).

Both Director 2 and MD pushed back and became an all out debate. Concerns were addressed and Director 2 got her way, but she’s right anyway. There were notes and evidence so there’s not disputing the errors. The manager did not do her due diligence and it’s a pattern in this department. She just slaps numbers on a sheet and call it a day. There’s no tracking, document, and research. 🧐 If you are experienced you would know these things.

Although I had my own show down with the manager this week I have no feelings against her. I consider myself a fair person and my hope for the manager is that she takes interest and begins to work with us as a team. I actually felt bad for her, Director 2 just went in on her. I played mediator and asked for the work to be completed and confirmed by the end of the to which she agreed 👍 and delivered.

I left it behind and forgot about it and went off to have dinner with my friend 🤗💗 of 10 years. All the Best! 🙏

Sounds like you handled a difficult situation with a lot of grace and fairness. Sometimes the best thing we can do is speak the truth, do our part, and then leave the rest behind. 🙏
