Making progress without her – 3/19/26

I hope everyone is doing okay. I think the MD noticed all the stalled work and decided to get to it today. 3 of 4 of us are working because Director 1 is out on vacation. The temper tantrum came at the right time for her. πŸ˜‚ It’s funny that some people spend their time trying to figure out how to get out of work. It’s exhausting to me, but we were able to get a lot done without the problem person. She causes confusion and is on vacation frequently. Hats off to her. I don’t know how she has that much PTO. 😳 The others stay to work and front situations. Yesterday MD β€œLAU” was frustrated, taking out on us. I understand it, but doen’t make it right. This happens because you become friends with your subordinates and then when you try to hold them accountable they cry wolf. πŸ™‚β€β†”οΈ Today I didn’t know who I was speaking to MD β€œLAU” was in a much better mood.

Director 2 and I showed her all the work, action taken, and tasks completed. She seemed to be happy. She seemed to be in a relaxed and calm mood, asking questions, getting answers from us to get work out to the next steps and collaborators.

We were very busy and productive. πŸ™πŸ«ΆπŸ» All the Best!

Glad to hear today went much better. Sometimes staying focused, doing the work, and keeping a good attitude speaks louder than anything else.

Praying for continued peace and teamwork. πŸ™
