I hope everyone is doing okay. I think this is the only place th opens on the day after Thanksgiving. My whole family is off, not me, but okay. My whole career I have had the day off after Thanksgiving. I had plenty to do anyway and it’s quiet because we’re working on skeleton crew. I took back my self-care and breaks after forcing myself to work straight through hoping that I could get ahead and I gave up. I’m taking my time, not stressing myself, and I’m the one facing the music so it’s on me I’ll figure it out.

I don’t follow the crowd, I follow the rules. They have already crossed me and I have put boundaries up and put them on alert that I will walk if they get in my way. “Let me do my job.” I did get off at 2pm, no one is working, we have no patients and I hear my family gathering around and on this note I will enjoy the rest of the day and weekend.
