I hope everyone is doing okay. As I blogged yesterday, I discovered our agreement with the sponsor that began back in 2022 was being spent on the appropriate scope of work. The problem happened that during a change in the agreement came the budget increased for programs and decreased for others. No notification was sent to the doctors, there was new system implementation, and the tracking of expenses was not being tracked and ultimately miscalculated. It opened up for errors and they happened. I have been repeating the same story over and over. “We cannot let it happen again”, I was told by the doctor.

I have to allow them to review the work, budgets, and agreement details before we execute any contract in the future. I will reset, review, reassess my management of I do things moving forward when we receive the renewal. We obviously have to do things different in the future. I acknowledge it and I expressed that to the doctor.

At the moment everyone is silent, waiting for me to say anything positive, maybe it’s not that bad, but I’m not, I can’t until I get into the minuscule of details to explain what and how we veered off, way off the financial track. I have a meeting set for tomorrow and I’m on my own. No one has said anything, but waiting. They are waiting for me to speak on the problem. The way I present and vibe, tone will be very instrumental to explain and say with confidence that it will be worked out and how I propose to resolve the problem.
