I hope everyone is doing okay.
Why? Why instead of answering my question he tells me how great he is? He’s been doing this a long time, very well versed in our finance system SAP. He was tasked to train me. My co-worker who I’ll call AM really goes out of his way to pump himself up! LOL!
I couldn’t even finish asking my question and I get cut off. Out of left field starts talking about something completely different unrelated to my question. I got snippy and in fact agitated because he has not even tried to help me navigate through the system or anything else, but only talks about himself. I think about why he didn’t apply for my job? He could’ve had it. Since day 1 he has really not assisted me with anything. I have gone to others for assistance and when asked to train me he did the minimum. From there on I have nothing else to say to him. The only reason why he does answer at times via email and teams call is because our boss is included. I don’t know what his deal is, I don’t even know him, but he throws his weight around as a “know it all.” He throws his weight around and when it comes to really taking action he flops.
I won’t be seeking his help, I’d rather figure it out on my own than deal with the ego. All the Best!
