I hope everyone is doing okay. Whew! I got slammed today, oh my gosh! I was already a bit behind and now due to this lingering report that won’t go away I can’t make progress. I’m bombarded with meetings that I think I shouldn’t have to attend. I’m slow at working through tasks because I’m either thinking of the next steps spending time looking back at my notes.

I have to create templates because there are none to forecast budgets. No notes left behind for me to reference back to because there’s so many moving pieces to each project. We don’t have a streamline process and to make matters worst our reports are off, not on time, and everyone has their own file. Nothing is centralized so that everyone can see and review at the same time. We waste time with so many meetings. I still like the job, but we have to get organized. I have to wait too long to get necessary information from others because we don’t have a shared filing system. It takes too long to get any information from others.

I will have to block out “focus time” on my calendar so that it won’t give anyone an opportunity to send me a meeting invite. LOL! All the Best!
