I hope everyone is doing okay. What a day! I had 2 situations that I had to deal with that might be difficult to handle for some, but not for me. I am so glad I learned people, reactions, postures, and habits. Patterns are important and knowing how to navigate through the many attitudes is important it helps you face them.

We had a meeting at 3pm today to talk about a process and tasks. I was thinking of the different scenarios to expect from these manic women, 2 of them. I listened to them and responded appropriately, remained calm mostly, and not upset. I prayed to God to take away what is not for me and that the meeting would go well. I want to quit the job, but not today 😆. I don’t mind helping, but I cannot continue to stress myself out and do 3 peoples job and they have all this free time. I’m not comparing myself, but they have a new position filled and it’s this person’s responsibility. And then it comes, MD “LAU” takes a shot at me. She said none of these invoices have been paid. The vendor has pinged her several times about invoices not being paid. “No, where?” I responded. “Show we where and which ones I have not paid. I have requested you all tell me which 2 to pay, but 4 of the total 6 invoices have been paid. If the vendor asks for payment please allow me to respond before you make any claim.” 🫨🤦‍♀️ I lost my cool. Director 2 immediately saw the rage in my face. I went ahead and asked, “Show me where or forward the emails to me!” I got on the defensive and they have never seen me get hot. 😡 My expression was of “heck no!” I continued questioning them and asking my requests have gone unanswered. “Answer me,” I said. Director 1 got off the call to take another call. Once she got back on I asked,”Which ones should I pay? Here’s my email from 2 weeks ago.” She went silent. She turned on her microphone and I could hear noise or music in the background. She was out and about at happy hour? I knew I probably would have to bring forward the issues with Director 1. Director 1 had to go because she said she couldn’t hear us. Basically ignored and dropped off the call!

I’m working a lot, doing my part, and too much for them so it seemed Director 1 didn’t want to “shake the tree.” I can see both Director 1 and MD “LAU” tried to blame me for things that either have not happened or they don’t know how to do their job. It’s never their fault. Their lies impeded them to really do their job. I don’t know they are qualified to do their job. I’m not helping them any longer. I’m sticking to my role only. The happy hour was too important to miss. 😓😐 All the Best!
