I hope everyone is doing okay. My day started a little sluggish , not sure what to get to first. I took some time to settle my mind with a little prayer and calming myself. I was antsy and that’s weird because I have not gone to a job in such a state. I also started to burn my abundance candle, it has a very sweet smell to it and that helped redirect my brain to good thoughts.

The morning started at knocking out quite a few tasks, then the meetings started at 11am going through the next period project budgets. These huge budgets are due next week and I have to budget all project costs within the boundaries of the start and end dates. There are 14 projects to cover for the next three years supporting a couple hundred staff. Not many can assist due to their limited experience with budgets.

Then the good news came near the end of my day, actually 2 pieces of good news. The sponsor called me to my personal number to let me know if I could chase a contract to add additional funds for a particular project that was for MD “SE”. I was on a call and also texting the MD the good news. This would give him funds to treat more patients and training to future MD’s. He was so happy and unexpected for him. The second contract is to pay back the organization the amount we were in deficit for over a year. I had been working on reimbursing the costs for work already completed one year ago. This was certainly exciting and happy days for me. I have been able to accomplish what others in this department have not been able to do. God is great!

The “corner” as I call the click have been here for years doing nothing to resolve issues. A young lady asks for my help and I read the email it stated, “Can you help us? “PEI” said she’s not a finance person that we can come to you to assist.” 🚨Whaaaat!🚨 Without hesitation I said yes because finances is not this young lady’s responsibility. There were discrepancies 🤦‍♀️in their reports for the past 2 years and their sponsor was questioning everything they were doing. 😳It worried me and I told her we would get it right. This is not a project assigned to me, but the young lady was determined and I told her I would get to the bottom of it and then explain it to her tomorrow.

I worked late today 8:00am to 7:30pm. I had to at least get started and find the discrepancies first and then deal with “PEI” later. Why would she tell people to come to me when she knows well that I am not assigned to any of her projects? 😓 All the Best!
