I hope everyone is doing okay. I am just laughing so hard despite the annoying events of today. It’s not funny because there’s important work that takes place, but this woman takes the title “stuck on stupid.” I have never seen it anything like it before.

There is one thing that you are intelligent and lazy, but this lady takes it to a new level. I’m talking about Director 1. We had a finance meeting today that ran 11:30am to 12pm. For the next two hours 12pm to 2 pm I didn’t expect what happened. I was to assist with salary, time staff are currently spending on the projects she oversees, and history of how much was spent on some items.

MD “LAU” was on the call giving her input and Director 1 pulled up on Teams the budget sheet that belong to the sponsor on Microsoft excel. This budget contained all the departments requests for two years of the work and costs the sponsor would pay us. Director 1 didn’t complete it correctly. She began to delete the formulas in the cell, corrupted the sheets somehow, and I couldn’t figure out what she did. I asked her to give me control via Teams and she couldn’t figure it out. The formulas were no longer calculating automatically, not populating the parents and amounts. After she tried multiple times I told her I would do it myself on my copy of the sponsor budget sheets because all the formulas were corrupted or not working at all.

She can’t figure out her own budget since 2019 and now I don’t think she’s ever used an excel sheet or handling an excel workbook. She lost her count and patience. I’m sure she will blame me that I did something when I couldn’t even get her to figure out to give me control via Teams on her end to help her fix it. LOL! All the Best!
