I hope everyone is doing okay. It’s been a while since I blogged. I haven’t had a chance to blog and read everyone’s posts either. So, just now I got some time to myself. My son’s birthday, my nieces baby shower, and my brother’s legal battle have kept me a little busy. As we all know family should come first. Oh and of course I’m behind writing my entries. These truly happen at work. Here we go…
Each task that comes across my desk whether tedious or not is important, too bad not everyone feels the same. We have a new doctor and also she’s a psychologist, young and pretty, and of course intelligent/expert and great with her patients. She could be my daughter. You have to understand in order to become a researcher and doctor you have to be patient and address all the work, not only what you want. This comes with being a good steward of sponsor support and that you are tracking, documenting, and submitting your progress both medical and financial to the sponsor showing you are truly working and meeting the expectation to the research you committed to. Don’t give me the look like you’re bored and I’m bugging you with tedious things. These are your responsibility too and you also signed off on the contract too as part of the deal. As soon as I explained it, nicely. She changed her tune, a bit shocked that she didn’t know she signed and the other work was also part of the deal. I asked did you read it all? It doesn’t matter now, we’re on the hook for it, that’s why I’m here. Thanks, now let’s get to work. All the Best!
