I hope everyone is doing okay.
I don’t like to be mean and I took the time to explain to the Sr. Manager the update on my projects. She tells me no one wants to talk to her and she was wondering why. I, of course, lied and told her I wasn’t sure. It’s not my place and not my problem. Not sure where she got the comment from and I honestly don’t care. I’m doing my part and that’s enough for me. She says she keeps asking people if they need help because she knows the morale is low.
In reality if she took the time to do quality work and not half-ass and cutting corners then others would be open. If you don’t know the process, don’t want to learn research even though it falls under your purview then why would anyone want to talk to you.
Despite that I took the time today of one hour to explain my work to her she’s going to forget it and will have to explain it again. I don’t have extra time to do this just so she will forget it tomorrow. Why would I want to keep talking to you?
If she took the time to get involved, learn the programs, and join the meetings no one would avoid you. She is just around as a title. All the Best!
