It worked out – 1/22/26

I hope everyone is doing okay.

MD “LAU” as I call her wants to know where the error occurred. I told her, “DD” shorted the budget and we really didn’t have those funds in October 2024 and now we’re short on funds now. I’m not sure, I wasn’t here how he didn’t pull the financial transactions totals and counted the encumbrances for all future costs. Both “DD” and the former employee got it wrong. One didn’t track the budget versus expenses and overspent. The second thing no one knew how to create a forecast. There was no communication and they both didn’t even get along.

I am a problem-solver and I was able to explain how I found cost savings and that’s the direction I am going. I’m advancing to submit the approval to the sponsor I only need the MD to agree with me which she did in the end, not before attempting to get after me as if I was the one who got it wrong. I had to cut her off and tell her talk to “DD” and his “corner” crew. It seemed to me that she was hoping the error was mine, how rude. She had no other options but to accept mine. How could I get it wrong? I’m the only one who’s been bailing them out all this time and the sponsor is accepting and approving all my work. It’s all worked out in my favor. How dumb of her.

They don’t deserve someone so dedicated like me. All the Best!

  1. I wish they accepted they made some mistakes sometimes, too. Hugs, Edith. Enjoy your weekend!
