Friday reflection – get over it; let’s get to work – 11/21/25

I hope you are doing okay. I’m behind on my blog. Today is January 23, 2026. As I’m writing this entry we are at 37 degrees and rainy. We’re supposed to get icy conditions and will be un drivable. In my city our vehicles weren’t built to drive in snow or ice conditions. Our fireplace has been burning all day. I hope we don’t lose power. Stay safe and warm Central, South, and East in the United States.

Back to my entry from 11/21/25:

It has been a tough week. People have big ego’s and it’s okay, but they use them to reduce people and I really can’t stand it. I have to ignore it so if not we wouldn’t be able to make progress. MD “LAU” is not stopping and giving our sponsor a difficult time. We are not in a position to demand and ask for more budget. We have to prove ourselves. I cleaned up a mess and I went through a really difficult time, but she feels like she should take the credit. We have to prove ourselves first that we are able to handle our tasks and be good stewards. She has been going back and forth upset while we could’ve accepted the work and work on important matters weeks ago. In the end I’ll let her handle it as long as I’m not involved in the meetings I would be embarrassed.

I understand we have to do more work and more reporting, but in reality they don’t understand their own budgets and what they requested. The only thing that will probably come out of MD “LAU” complaining is shifting work, but we will have to do more work any way you cut it or slice it. She’s pointing the finger at the wrong people. It’s not the sponsor’s doing, this is the “corner.” This is the “corners” doing, but she won’t say anything and I don’t understand why. I’m ready to go, let’s get to work. All the Best!
