I hope everyone is doing okay. ✅ Where to even begin my journal entry! I’ll start by saying thank you for complicated rules placed on these projects because these complicated people need rules placed on them so they won’t try and take advantage and of course I have to keep a watchful eye 👁️ which is my duty as well.

This month already started and it’s ramping up and I’m already feeling it will be month #10 of super busy. My critical thinking 🧐 skills are at an all time high. I’m trying to figure out how to keep this department in compliance, going through a 2nd audit of our project finances, contracts, and filing reports. I am filling the role of a vacant position after the girl left and doing clean up after her. The administrative clean up was insane. She didn’t do anything, only caused a mess.

MD “C” as I’ll call her is testing the boundaries. She requested a couple things that are a want, not a need. I sense these are for personal use of one desk riser, personal screen, and iPhone charger. These things are not cheap and even if they are the project rules don’t allow for the purchase of these items. Only items that are directly related to the project and a benefit to the projects are allowed and what was submitted in the budget also did not allow for the purchase. Nope. 🙂‍↔️

I like 👍 rules, there’s a reason for them otherwise people would do whatever they want and really cause chaos. All the Best!
