I hope everyone is doing okay. I have been thinking of how to change the way I work with program teams. I’ve thought of putting something together the month of October. We have to get our files and record management together. All these files are in shambles. Everyone keeps their own files, crazy! I have been able to stabilize the financials and bring them up to date and what transpired for the last four years. Some things should be centralized to allow the workflow to be effective and everything is decentralized here, people work in silos and don’t share files.

I have to put some focus on internal flow and streamline our workflow of who does what. We have young staff and many are inexperienced. For most this is their first job. There’s very few of us, maybe 3-4 staff that are really carrying this whole department which may consist of maybe 250 staff. There’s very few staff that truly have enough knowledge and if we continue to operate this way we’re going to get burnt out and quit. No one else seems to be doing anything about it.

I’ll have to take baby steps. We have a senior manager and I don’t think she’s experienced enough. All the Best!
