I hope everyone is doing okay. I worked through quite a bit of tasks that I was behind on. A lot of housekeeping and clearing up travel and credit card expense reports, and upcoming finance review for a medical doctor. He’s pretty cool with dry humor.

This particular doctor who I will call SE only wants to address the important and pressing items and was appreciative of my work today. A nice motivation boost for the work I have completed on his behalf. It was a better day today than what has been ongoing the recent weeks. The problem just caught a little more drama today and it seems like the drama is picking up by the week.

Today was a good day until the call came in. At around 4pm I got a call from my boss. It was definitely a strange call. He was in a way defending his position and job, work, and talked about us being a team which I disagree but didn’t voice it. He asked questions of two co-workers in specific and what they were working on. Huh! Who? Why? It didn’t make any sense to me. He was absolutely fishing for information.

Then the conversation took a turn to more of a reprimand being asked not to question or comment about the person who I replaced. The very fact that no one was watching her and there was no accountability of the progress on all projects by leadership really freaks me out and makes them look bad. It felt as if I was being told to hush about anything prior to me. I now see what happened and no one cared. Why all of a sudden can I not talk about it. Are they afraid of a scandal? All the Best!
