I hope everyone is doing okay. Sometimes you want to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to email communication because you canโt really pin point if itโs emotional or not? But you know the intention behind it and you have to defend yourself because people are ready to respond more than listen.
Today I received an email with a statement that left me speechless as I read it. The person is the administrator and was sitting in the office two doors down and couldโve walked over to ask me what the status of the contract was instead of approaching me via email in an accusatory manner.
I responded calmly and reminded him I inherited this situation and many others. Iโve had little direction and a lot of conflicting information. I have been working diligently and patiently through it all and gave him a status of the contract workflow which is supposed to be sent out in a couple days and the last thing I needed was finger pointing?! Crazy! All the Best!
