Staying calm – 3/18/25

I hope everyone is doing okay. Sometimes you want to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to email communication because you canโ€™t really pin point if itโ€™s emotional or not? But you know the intention behind it and you have to defend yourself because people are ready to respond more than listen.

Today I received an email with a statement that left me speechless as I read it. The person is the administrator and was sitting in the office two doors down and couldโ€™ve walked over to ask me what the status of the contract was instead of approaching me via email in an accusatory manner.

I responded calmly and reminded him I inherited this situation and many others. Iโ€™ve had little direction and a lot of conflicting information. I have been working diligently and patiently through it all and gave him a status of the contract workflow which is supposed to be sent out in a couple days and the last thing I needed was finger pointing?! Crazy! All the Best!
