I hope everyone is doing okay. The need is high to make changes. It seems we’re all just working and that’s okay. We’re all working for the same cause, but we’re working without structure. It’s challenging when you’re learning new systems, catching up with tasks that were not resolved, and then a new cycle of budget season upcoming.
I’m trying to figure things out, figuring out the process, asking questions, waiting and more waiting, but I’m knocking them out and checking them off slowly my to-do list. People left the department, and no notes left behind, no organization, we’re basically surviving. It takes a while to find what I am looking for. There is no time to organize due to the fast-paced environment, backlog of work, and approaching deadlines. We’re in real need of checklists.
I hope it calms down a bit to be able to at least catch up or I’m looking at working on the weekend just to organize, but the good news is that I enjoy what I do. All the Best!
