I hope everyone is doing okay. I’m tired, I have worked another 10-hour work day. I’m pushing through one day at a time to submit documents for a settlement on behalf of investigator #5. Why do I have to go through this, it feels like I’m the only one that this happens to. The project work was completed, but the investigator never received a contract for the work before or after completion. Yikes!

We received a new contract that states for the work to begin on 5/8/24, not 5/8/22! I had a call with others on how to resolve, do a work around to go through the process of a settlement. This is sucking the soul out of me. I missed my son’s first soccer practice. I was asked to meet with investigator #5 and she was no show. At 4pm and I’m still at the office to get on another meeting. The meeting did give me some direction but won’t be easy. I’m very much unsupported. This blew up overnight. This is just another storm to have to go through.

Luckily, I was given back some time to deal with investigator #6 of answering his questions to transfer a project from another organization to us. He was happy with the results to clear up all our questions that we had. This was another problem solved where I had to reach out to another department to get answers pretty quick. I had a good source and assistance with this one task. I got home at almost 7pm, took a deep breath and quiet the rest of the night. All the Best!
