Friday Reflection – exhaustive week – 9/1/23

I hope everyone is doing okay.

Looking back this week I don’t even know how I got through it. I didn’t eat healthy, worked through lunch time, and had late hours. The tongue lashings I took, the accusation from the co-worker and the criticism of my work felt as if I was trying to dodge the energy vampires and I succumbed to them. I cried.

I had to center myself and meditate, pray and balance my state of mind by taking a walk, took a couple hours to re-group. I turned my stress relief candle and went straight back to the grind. I was busy on a personal level as well, my car battery went out and had no running hot water one night the boiler had to be worked on, and a last-minute ceremony I was required to attend in support of family which ended the week on a positive note for sure.

I’m a dedicated person, I don’t give up. I completed all I had to at work this week and even went above to begin the files for the upcoming end of month close on financials. Killing them with kindness is my secret weapon. So, I’m ready for the next round. For now, I’m sitting here with a glass of wine and reflect while writing this entry. All the Best!
