I hope everyone is doing okay. Things seem to be shifting for the good toward me except for the following conversations. The administrator and I had a conversation today. He seemed to be comfortable in my presence and never spoke so long. He seemed to think he helped me figure out how to negotiate hiring someone to assist me with work. I have recently taken on additional projects and he acknowledged that I should seek help if I can figure out how to pay their salary. 😂 What! I thought that was your senior manager job? He then didn’t offer to provide any temporary support, but he’s okay with me having more tasks and doing the work. The MD’s don’t like to deal with staff situations either, well okay. I guess I’m on my own. He started talking about himself. I won’t bore you all with the details of his latest vacation.

I spoke to him about my concerns with the central offices at our headquarters manual invoicing and I doing their job because they can’t figure how to file financial reports. I’m like a broken record repeating the same information to 5 different people who are housed in the same department. They don’t talk to each other! The staff at the headquarter offices are slow, things don’t flow well, and it’s frustrating. He ignored my whole rant. 😣 He pretty much shifted the whole conversation to himself. I’m starting to see the reality of the culture at this place. He finally came out of his hole 🕳️ because we’re near getting out of this department hole he drove this department to no avail of him changing his mind about me. He doesn’t know me well and doesn’t care. It’s just the vibe I get from him.

My day went okay, no severe stress thankfully 😅. And then here comes “DD” as I call him walked into my office this morning if I needed anything, if everything was okay. I told him no and I was confused 🤔. I responded I had it covered. Almost immediately it dawned on me. I had commented to the co-worker “PEI” who spends most of her time watching soap operas, yelling, and with her feet up on the desk, “I’m assessing whether I’m staying or not.” I did it on purpose just to put some heat on her maybe this way she would get to work. I’m sure “PEI” walked right over to her boss and told him “DD.” I had forgotten the whole conversation with “PEI” and didn’t care for it or entertain the drama. 🎭 All the Best!
