I hope everyone is doing okay. I can’t believe it I was asked not to quit? Why? I’m not sure what gave them the idea, but I did comment, “I haven’t seen anything like this before in my career.” The MD “LAU” as I call her looked defeated and gave in on the in-fighting happening between her and her boss. The person that worked on the budgets back in May 2024 for 13 project budgets forgot to include 1 of the 13, so there are only 12 now. The budget was supposed to be part of MD “LAU” work that no longer exists.
When I announced it to her she wasn’t rude or harsh with me, the total opposite was understanding. She told me I have her support, but for me not to quit. MD “LAU” wants us to collaborate, work together, and keep a tight circle moving forward. I was told to follow the lead of Dr. C. who is now leading, let’s see how that goes. Dr. C pretty much has taken the reigns anyway and I hear Dr. C is difficult to work for, but I hope that’s not the case and is fair. I’ll have to work with Dr. C to find a workaround and be able to pay for the scope of work and use budget from another and I think we can cut some operation costs without having to cut patient costs.
It doesn’t stop me from working with “LAU” she’s still busy and working on the big technology piece so I’ll still have to report to her. At least I know where I stand with “LAU” now. All the Best!
