I hope everyone is doing okay. Why are people working today? They need my help and my name is getting around because I’m getting emails from research labs asking questions on how to do certain things, review their work before they upload to make revisions to their budget, and ask for advice. People are working today when I thought things were winding down ahead of the holiday coming up. What?!I just got busier.

I’m assisting DD who has a senior position and has been with the organization for about 8 years. And is asking me for help and I have been here 6 months, who has been counterproductive, but I still helped. I had no meeting scheduled and now by 11am I’ve had a total of 6 couple already completed and the rest for later.

On a lighter note someone brought me snacks 😎! Very nice of her to do. The big meeting is coming up and there’s rumblings about how will the meeting go between us and the sponsor, what will be discussed, and some are nervous that the budget was way overspent, will someone take the fall? The big question will be where did it go wrong. 😑 With many unknowns I cannot lose focus and allow others to affect me.

There’s many who don’t know the purpose or their role and no guidance, less help. It seems this is the culture. I cannot be loyal to an organization that doesn’t recognize quality and authenticity. The only thing keeping me here is my boss who is between stability and crazy. 🤪 All the Best!
