I hope everyone is doing okay. I didn’t think today was going to get busy and it did once again. I am not worrying and hustling to get things done, but now the boss needs to do travel clean up. They are gradually giving me more and more tasks. It’s not recent tasks these are clean up tasks. People travel for a variety of reasons, but they have not cleared their fall itineraries once they complete their travel.

Their travel sits in their queue waiting for them to attach an account and upload their receipts. Nope, I’m not going to worry about it. I have done a lot of clean up lately. No one felt the same pressure from the higher ups and now they feel it because we’re now in an audit. They finally woke up to get their stuff done. I am pretty flexible, but I won’t give up my personal time to clear something that wasn’t urgent to anyone before.

One after another the tasks began to flood my inbox. I’m getting a feeling this is not the end and that this job is more than what was explained to me. I am learning and people are being patient when it comes to their budgets and expenses. One at a time I will be doing finance reviews to explain who and what materials and supplies can be purchased for each project. I am not everyone’s cup of tea, but I do speak facts. At least one person cannot understand where all her budget went despite explaining to her what exactly it was spent on. I got off work and will deal with the workload that came through today, tomorrow. All the Best!
