I hope everyone is doing okay. Today there was an impromptu meeting and propelled me into the spotlight. I had to sort of showcase my findings on what was going on with the medical projects for one medical investigator from the financial aspect.

I have attempted to take every step to listen, learn, and pick up on key things to present to the investigator. I tried to hone in on what they want to know or see during these meetings. Despite whether I was ready or not I can’t be afraid to sink because this is how I improve on taking their feedback. I’ll be better prepared next time.

I hope he liked the information I had to offer and that it made sense. Everyone is very professional and to the point, no time to waste as we had a lot to cover. I’m working hard to be proactive. It’s a lot to learn, but my goal is to stay a step ahead of the investigators. They already have a full load with patients and resident doctors so they don’t need me taking their time on financial questions that they will not know. My job is to research and bring concerns to their attention. All the Best!
