Final interview, #5 – 12/02/14

I hope everyone is doing okay. This interview took a different turn today, it was okay, good conversation. The investigator seemed like he wanted to connect on a personal level as well home, life in general, and being proactive.

I was asked why I wanted this job? My response, “Your talent acquisition team reached out to me via LinkedIn and emailed me a couple positions. I went to your website and I applied. This would be a promotion for me.” He chuckled a bit and said, “Oh, good one!” I guess he didn’t believe me and made me like a liar.

He looked satisfied with my experience responses to his questions. I gave him very detailed examples of my experience and how I handled particular challenges.

I left the interview feeling that he wasn’t so convinced of why I wanted this job. It’s as if I sound “too good to be true.” I’m not fake news for sure I speak the truth. It’s all in their hands now whether they will hire me or not. I did my best. All the Best!

  1. To hire or not, the important thing is you did your best. Its their lose if they didn’t hire you. And there’s always better job or position for you if that interview result didn’t goes well.
