I hope everyone is doing okay. My prayers at 2am worked. I prayed and hoped for the best today before I got to work.

I met with the investigator today with a naive state of mind. I explained my goals and asked each question and was patient. He gave me a simple, “no.” I will not put myself or the department in any additional deficit. He pointed at each item he would not charge or need to purchase. He didn’t take anything over the allowed limit. He could’ve answered my questions with a “no” via email without the explanation. Took days to get an answer, that’s it, moving on.

I have been on little sleep and still have a couple other projects to work on and analyze to not overspend for the same investigator. I guess it will go on to next week. All the Best!
