I hope everyone is doing okay. After making such progress and putting it on the evaluation it didn’t work out for me because I missed the deadline for a merit raise.

I can talk about each task in detail from the problem to problem-solving each and completion. I was having a conversation with the supervisor about something unrelated when in passing I was advised I was not eligible for a raise. How ingenious of her. What about a bonus? Who knows? Okay…

Secondly, I was told that there would be a title change and raise to keep me happy. The dilemma for me is, the last job I had with this organization I was told the same thing for about 2 years and nothing happened, I quit. I’m not going to give it a lot of thought and I handled the conversation in more a “grain of salt” type conversation. I am giving this department one year because it’s the contract I signed. I will reassess. I do also have a choice. My response to the whole conversation, “Well, if I’m not happy you will be the first one to know.” I don’t believe anything she’s told me until I see it. Her aloofness overtakes her quite a bit and forgets what she’s said yesterday. All the Best!
