I hope everyone is doing okay. I secured a small win. I will take it despite that the investigator was hesitant about my capability to come through with my suggested action plan. He only said, “Okay, go ahead.”

I get it. My predecessor left, leaving all investigators in the dark on their financial standing of projects. There is still quite a bit to clean up with this particular investigator. It looked very complex, but I am getting through the many tasks and seeing pattern of how he operates and thinks. I am comfortable talking to him and checking in on how to proceed on some questionable tasks. I don’t know it all and I do credit him for at least drawing his goals and providing additional information that will support me in understanding all his work and partially his way of training me.

I went to him with a plan of action, and he okayed it hesitantly, his look of whether I’ll be able to complete what I am saying that I’ll do. I hope it all works out for me, that everything turns out the way I planned. I worked late today, but the party was fun this afternoon. I think my supervisor finally realized the amount of work and I wasn’t bluffing that I have been buys. All the Best!
