I hope everyone is doing okay.
There’s so many signals being sent out and cannot keep up of who she really is? I’ve been trying to connect the dots to be able to see her for who she really is.
Today, she called me out that department assets fall under my position, a function I should be doing, but assigned it to a co-worker. Assets should be tagged belonging to the company. While I wasn’t taking responsibility for assets not being tagged the co-worker attempted to sabotage my friend for the same thing.
I’m really only responsible for the assets that are charged to projects, nothing else. I made it clear that I wouldn’t take it over, I wasn’t here when all this mess was created so I won’t be cleaning it up.
The supervisor came over to my office after our meeting and apologized for calling me out and not told me ahead of time. I wonder how long will she continue to put up with the messy work of the co-worker? She didn’t have the backbone to lead and command, she had to hide behind me. She doesn’t have to give a lot of explanation or put anyone on the spot. All the supervisor has to do is tell the co-worker what to do and move on, doesn’t know how to have difficult conversations. All the Best!
