I hope everyone is doing okay.

I haven’t seen or heard from the head of the department at all and this entry is really meant to be funny. We all cause a blunder, it happens, luckily this one wasn’t a bad situation, I took it with a grain of salt. Today we had a division meeting regarding a new budget model being introduced. Although it doesn’t affect me directly I get the gist of the next 3 years.

I sat next to 2 supervisors and there are times where some things shouldn’t be said. Supervisor 1 asked the supervisor 2, pointing, which person sitting below us was the first considered to be hired in the role I currently hold. Then, which one was the second person being considered to fill my role? Supervisor 2 responded which ones were considered in order of who was asked first and then supervisor 1 asked why didn’t either of the persons applied. Supervisor 2 responded that both were not sure and delayed in responding to applying and “bailed out” on her.

And then…silence. “But I’m glad we have YoungHeart now!” says supervisor 2. LOL! All the Best!
