I hope everyone is doing okay. I woke up a little under the weather. I’m trying to get over a small cold. It just suddenly appeared, and I didn’t get good sleep.

I planned to work until noon and then drive out to the scheduled interview, but instead I logged off around 10 and took a nap. I can’t recall the last time I took a nap during the day so I knew I was still trying to get over this cold. I am tired and overwhelmed from work. I took a 45 minute nap!

I applied to 3 positions since December 2023 and I never heard anything back from the first interview, turned down the second one, people were weird and seemed anti-social, more so boring and the third I was immediately rejected. It seemed they already chose someone they wanted in the position.

This is the fourth attempt. I felt excited! I met with my friend, the last time I saw her was 2 years ago. It was great to see her. The supervisor had a list of questions of which the boss didn’t even let her ask one because he began questioning me, very intimidating in the beginning, but I stood firm, consistent and answered with real-life, hands-on examples of my work. The interview didn’t follow protocol and the supervisor mentioned I pretty much answered each question during the whole conversation. She needed no convincing though since she already knew my work.
