I hope everyone is doing okay. What a shock and unexpected call from my friend! A nice surprise.

I had a good day today. My former co-workers and friends are looking out for me. I got an unexpected call from my friend whom I met at work years ago and continued to stay in touch with her, there’s a job she thought I could fit in and she’s in the same department. Her boss knows my work and would be delighted to bring me on board. Wow. The thing is that the job posting is closing today. It was 11:30am. At around 2:15pm, time had flown by for me as I was working diligently. My friend texted me and said if I was interested to apply by 5pm. I had an outdated resume and I was asked to provide one as is.

This was all like a dream, it doesn’t happen to people like me, never has, always worked hard on my own. They all know my work, even the new boss! I appreciate the support from my friends and I’m hoping to reunite with them. The thought of returning at any capacity to this organization would be super because I get to do the work I used to enjoy. I’m grateful, appreciative. The universe wants us to reunite. Even though I don’t see them often I always have thought about them and wished them the best. They also give me strength and confidence.

I am not going to write about work today. I am working alone and a lot. I choose not to think of the busy, repetitive, instead what I am looking forward. I hope it works out for me. I am looking forward for hard times to be over already. All the Best!
