I hope everyone is doing okay. I have come to understand the shadow side of this job.

I do feel bad for this team. I’m now getting to understand, and I see why they feel the way they do they are in the shadow of information. They don’t know the process of initiating, executing, and project set up. It’s unreal that questions being asked of me are basic.

I don’t understand the full picture, but I can at least fake it until I make it. I can research and find the resources, ask the proper questions to get to the desired result, but this team can’t. They lack the big picture, the life cycle of a project. They have also been told that their sole job is one particular task, but each task brings various situations, and they don’t know how to react, hence the reason they can’t perform and/or add value.

I don’t mind helping them and I will not treat anyone less than because they don’t know. It’s not a great job because so many details and tracking pieces, but it’s not the worst job I’ve had either. All the Best!
