I hope everyone is doing okay.

The supervisor is at it again today. I don’t even know how to begin my entry because it seems she enjoys pushing the limit, at least I’m not alone on this. I hear she does it to others as well. For her it’s an adrenaline rush, jumping to conclusions, being right all the time. Yes, she’s comfortable and knows the ropes around here.

She enjoys dropping 10-12 lines via Skype to me asking me several different things about work but won’t allow me to respond when she is calling me already. She will immediately want action telling me what to do without asking if I’ve taken action on the situation. At times it does duplicate my work because she doesn’t take the time to look at my task list in teams that is available to her to review and edit. It takes my time away of completing new tasks.

She will explain different ways of doing a task, but cannot tell me the department’s best practice. There is no answer or solution to any of it. There is no manual for any of it. She should just tell me to wing it because that’s exactly what we’re doing. My expressed frustration doesn’t move her. It’s as if she came into 2024 thinking this is a good business practice?
