I hope everyone is doing okay, not so good for me today, but glad it’s over now. Today, this is what happened…

The supervisor seemed to be out for blood today. She totally took it out on me for not sure what reason. I got a tongue lashing that was undeserving especially early Monday morning. She re-visited my forecast from 8/22/23 and began tweaking it by adding a new tab and asked me to complete it again and that was no longer just tweaking. LOL!

I was asked to start over for the sixth time to make an update on the same forecast. I was criticized. The research and flow of the sheets didn’t make sense to her. I was also advised that I had to learn to include a summary tab before its complete. I responded that at least I can explain what I did and the flow of it. Also, in my defense I wasn’t provided any instruction or example of one I could reference back to. I asked if she had a template I could use and she responded, “If anyone needs a template to be an analyst then you shouldn’t be one!” My response, “well, if I created the template on the forecast then I am one, which in this case I did, it’s just not to your liking.” She changed her tune with me and said, “I know you know how to do your research and that’s great.” “Your numbers are correct, we just have to work on creating a summary for each forecast, but you’re on top of it.”

After working so hard, closing financial tasks that were years old, holding the line with the top six investigators, billing, journal entries, updating tasks, and analyzing transactions I get a passive-aggressive attitude. I’m running out of fuel and patience. This is the type of pressure no one wants. It’s wasted time and the insults are unnecessary. She really sound like a spoiled brat. It was funny though.
