Accountability – 7/5/23

I hope everyone is doing okay.

This is just scratching the surface. I opened up the teams task to find so many unresolved tasks that I can’t even figure out where to begin. Very simple tasks that should not take months to figure out and close out.

As long as there is no consistent workflow we’re still being reactive at keeping up. We don’t have the view access, no one assigned specifically to the old “open” tasks, and communication is awful via every avenue – share your message at the same time to everyone. There is no teamwork and the correct people are not on board. I’m not not the greatest at everything, but I do my due diligence and understand the concept of how systems and project work. The training is awful and no one talks about the elephant in the room to get rid of people that add weight instead of support. External departments don’t work quick to update anything, I’m asking for a follow up and don’t get a response until after two weeks. Yikes! The organization preaches accountability during the new hire procedure, but it doesn’t exist in reality. Accountability is not put into practice and no one is stepping up to provide any leadership or address the productivity situation.

Why hire quality people if you are just putting them in a box? I came to this job to shine and produce and the only attempts have been to dim my light. No chance to shine, only silenced. I only came here for them to tell me what to do! Ugh! All the Best everyone.
