Hello, I hope everyone is doing well.

I understand we will have bad days, but today was really bad (1/23/2023). After being assigned a project last week, spending quite a bit of time to set it up with funding, revenue for expenditures and communication with my collaborators with the steps because the department has no knowledge of how the process works I felt good that it seemed went smoothly.

After working to jump start the project and begin completing the work I spoke to my supervisor about the financial reporting part of this project. It didn’t occur to provide the logon information to me? I didn’t know or have access to the collective logon. On Monday (1/23/23) the supervisor with the other team submitted the financial report on my behalf and copied me in the email! It took me a few days to get past the incident and that critical information wasn’t shared with me. My job is important and withholding knowledge of this nature makes me look bad. I am a responsible person and my supervisor is only letting me slip and fall.

I’m not allowing space in my mind any longer to distract me and think of what happened and zapping my motivation. So, I have taken action steps and apply to other opportunities where people care and want to be a team. I gave this realistic time to observe, contemplate and I made the decision.
